I dont think its between his ears at all - i think he's fatigued and can't command what is still unhittable stuff if he was locating it anything close to what he was doing midseason.

The Cubs havent gained a single game in the standings on the Brewers in the last month - they arent running the table no matter who they play, and the Brewers arent going into an end of season free fall

The last time the Brewers made the World Series - 1982 - I was 21. It never crossed my mind that it would be over 40 years before they returned. I’m 64 & this is our best chance since 2018 to make the World Series. I will be furious if Miz is on the NLDS roster & even more so if he pitches in a game & gets hammered. He’s got many years to pitch in big games, but I hope he’s not included as a courtesy like he was for the All-Star game. I don’t trust him in games that matter.

I'm going out on a limb to say that Miz should be given a chance to pitch his way out of his current funk.  He can still be great.

Yeah.  Seems pretty likely he'll get through 7 tonight...

We've had a couple of good ABs against him, but not enough, and too many 1-2 pitch outs.

That is just plain nasty.  He is a "clown".  He is clearly not his best nor anywhere near his  vey early debut stats.  Maybe he should not be on the play off roster, but  let  Hook decide that.  But "Clown?" You must be better than that.
