Keep pitching Miz at home. He’s way more comfortable at home than on the road

Yeah I agree. You have to rest him for game 1 but I would probably have him throw a few innings in Game 2.

My faith in playoff Ashby is pretty shaken right now although he did make one of the most important singular pitches today. Every other pitcher was fantastic today.

As the absolute Chad Patrick original hype man...I was one PROUD Baseball Papa tonight. Man alive his uplevel in a bullpen role - his cajones and grit - is electric. What a player.

Man, I feel like I will be able to enjoy the NLCS. That series, losing to the Cubs would have been the only thing to put a damper on what this team has done this season. Now that trepidation is gone.

Such a good feeling, will always have this game to look back on with a smile on my face no matter what happens next. Miz shut up a lot of people with the way he pitched this series, he earned those two wins.

That back door cutter was insane. No one could touch that

Agreed.  Definitely not on board with the playing with house money thing.  They had the best record in baseball.  Why can't we expect them to win?

I honestly believe the NLCS is the de facto World Series.

One thing I did definitely not expect tonight - not one single substitution.

I've been thinking it but didn't post it.  The least "managed" game by Murphy so far.

We're better positioned to beat LA than we were in 2018. I said what I said. Doesn't mean it happens. But I believe it.

I actually think they’re a lot better positioned in part because of what they experienced this series, in the end I think they benefited more from this going all the way than a 3 game sweep. You can’t substitute the experience of the road game hostility that they went through in Game 4.

I wouldn't be opposed to replacing him with Myers on the NLCS roster.

A lot of extra pressure with the opponent being the Cubs.

I still think Ashby will be on the NLCS roster. Gasser is almost certainly not going to be.

No, I think Gasser is done. I wonder if Ashby is just worn out.
