Said it at the time and I'll say it again, that inning was the decisive inning.  I felt zero anxiety when they got out of that inning.

I've been thinking it but didn't post it.  The least "managed" game by Murphy so far.

I thought it was a mistake that they didn’t go to the bench for Ortiz with the bases loaded. We’ll never know if Bauers hits a Grand Slam there, or also gets out anyway.  I am ok with that.

If the Brewers don't win the division I should be banned. However, they will.

Now THAT was a master class in managing a bullpen/pitching staff.

Someone mentioned Myers, and I think if Woodruff isn't ready (which would be surprising if he was), he should be in. I'd think Gasser out.

I’ve never dreaded a game so much in my life.      Freaking brewers.  This team.   Vaughn!!!!!!      I don’t even know what to say.    We devastated the cubs.      What a season!!!!!

and I’ve enjoyed the season with all you guys too.

Looks like Slash to me. We need Allen Gamble's FaceBack app.

I felt so relieved when they got out of it, but in the moment, Ashby down 3-1 to Tucker, one ball away from bases loaded nobody out, was the most dread and anxiety that I felt during this game.

I still think Ashby will be on the NLCS roster. Gasser is almost certainly not going to be.

Ashby can't through strikes and when he does he gets hit. He is a mess.

Ashby needs to stay on the roster. Dodgers have a lot of good lefties in Ohtani, Freeman and Muncy

Gonna need him

I agree. I think he needs a few days rest though.

Priester. I don't want him pitching on the road if at all possible.

Eh, he had a bad inning. I'm not worried about where he pitches.

I don't put much stock in that inning OR the season splits where his ERA was ~1 ER better on the road.

Gonna have to eat up a lot of innings and we're going to need a couple more guys to step up in the 7 game series. Tobias Myers should be 1.

If not, you'll be calling on Gasser to give you innings at SOME point... and probably multiple innings.

Just as important, Turang and Yelich need to have better ABs. We escaped and Turang came through, but need more to beat LAD.

Would be a great story, but I’m wondering if he could add value after being out with an injury for several weeks. Not sure who he replaces. Gasser will likely be replaced by Myers.
