Would be a great story, but I’m wondering if he could add value after being out with an injury for several weeks. Not sure who he replaces. Gasser will likely be replaced by Myers.

I wouldn’t think it is even possible. Before the NLDS they pretty much said the NLCS was unrealistic because he wasn’t likely to throw at all by then. NLDS is over and I don’t recall any report of him throwing.

The realistic dream is in relief in the World Series.

Replacing who? Ashby?
come on dude……that isn’t happening…….Gasser will be gone as he should.

Add me to the chorus of "biggest game of my life". I was at the game, bought tickets before I knew it was the Cubs and how big the moment was.

That was my world series. All the ingredients were there for most devastating loss of my life. Outside Seattle Packers. I find the Counsell betrayal unbelievably personal considering his history and "Born a Brewer" promo, the fact Brewers and Cubs have never met in playoffs, the invading Cubs fans into Wrigley North with their smugness, going up 2-0 to then lose two deflating losses, the season we had and how likeable our players are. It would have been the worst gut punch ever.

Now it's glorious.

I think we good a puncher's chance against Dodgers.

That was such a boom or bust series that this nlcs is going to be so enjoyable.    Either counsell celebrates in our field or we completely devastate them by winning the  division and playoff series.    The sense of relief at 10pm tonight is something I haven’t felt forever

season is validated.

56 years as an MLB organization. This is only the 4th time the Brewers have ever been to a Championship Series. My goodness. I am not built for this. 😅

Reminder that Abner's 2024 season consisted of: losing the closer's job, starting a fight, getting optioned prior to serving the suspension, then a freak season-ending knee injury while playing hacky sack in the AAA clubhouse.  He's come a long way.

HOW ABOUT THAT ONE FOLKS?!

I ended up going to the game. The relief at the end could be felt throughout the whole stadium I thought.

Now we go for the pennant. I love baseball. I love the Brewers. I love Bob Uecker. What a season.

Yelich and woodruff owe this franchise now this postseason.     The city of Milwaukee have been good to them.     It’s time to show up and get us to a World Series.

A lot of people wanted him gone, but the organization always knew what they had.

I mean, is Woodruff even throwing?  I doubt he's going to be much help for this one.

He’s not…….leave it to Willie to post some negative crap when we win just beat the Cubs to advance.

No athlete can guarantee success…….Yelich and Woody owe you nothing.

They will give it their best shot against a healthy Dodger team who will be a big favorite.

Everyone hopes they win…….but the other team wants to win just as badly.

Then start throwing.

Yeah, not how that works.  You'll just have to settle for being disappointed by him.

I watched most of the game on my phone with no sound at my son's marching band competition.

The moment the band was announced as the winner of their division, Turang hit the homer. Talk about having something to cheer for!
