There was a slew of cornerbacks available at the trade deadline and Gute was content to stick with what he had.

I said before the game this was a crossroads game for more than this season, blow it all up.

Only thing I can say is that it too a miracle for them to beat us when our starting qb got knocked out 1/3 of the way into the game.  Pretenders, or said another way, they are who we thought they were and we let them off the hook.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

I am not watching another NFL game or highlight until next Saturday, I usually don't tune out like this until a playoff loss.

I'm done for the year. They're an absolute embarrassment. Someone should lose their job tonight. Probably Bisaccia.

I mean, it’s not really on him, but I think a message should probably be sent, and it’s enough cumulative underperformance at this point to more than justify it. The unit has cost us too many wins under his watch.

If the playoffs hadn’t expanded to 7 teams from 6, we’d be missing the playoffs for the 4th straight year.

But that Matt Lafleur, hE’s oNe oF tHe bEST”!! 🤣

LaFleur certainly didn't lose this game.

Not sure if that’s completely true. Some questionable play calling in the red zone is on him, since he’s the one calling the game. What percentage that might be of the total blame is hard to quantify. But it’s something.

That said, the continuous special teams issues has to be addressed. The onside kick and fumbling the ball deep inside the five yard line are the two big plays that cost the game.

No Parsons, no Kraft, no Tom, no Wyatt, no E. Williams . Lose Love to a cheap shot.

And they should have won.  Bears make a 55 yard FG in this wind, Brinson grabs a face mask on 3rd and 20, Doubs can't catch an onside kick. Jacobs fumbles at the goal line.

Just s**t-spiffy.

It's going to be tough to get to sleep for a while, at least I don't have to work tomorrow. So many what ifs in that last few minutes.

But they didn’t.  A movie we’ve seen a million times before.
