I was wondering if Ramon Urias wouldn't have been a better option for us at 3rd base and it's looking like he would be, by far.  To make matters worse, he signed with the Cardinals and signed for less than Rengifo.

He's not good and he's not going to be here next year so why exactly is he here? At least Jett is getting experience for future. In my book of baseball I'm not pinch hitting with a guy hitting 133 but that's me.

I’m honestly fine with a complete overhaul at the bottom of the roster. Get Jett up, get Pratt up. Yes, I know the results may not be any better at first, but they’re not going to be any worse than what we’re getting from 3 or 4 of our existing guys, and they’re part of our future. Matos and Hamilton are not. I’d rather take my lumps with the guys here for the long haul and let them get used to it here.

Matos, Rengifo, Perkins, Lockridge, Hamilton, Ortiz and Jones are all anywhere between AAA replacement level players or borderline MLB players. It is really hard to win when half of your position player group is that weak.
