At the game, how bad did it look?

Bad. Bleeding, can’t bend it, and can’t put any weight. Pretty direct contact with the concrete.

What a terrible thing to see. Lockridge has been excellent since joining the Brewers. I hope this isn’t as bad as it looks.

I hope Lara gets the call rather than Perkins.

Underrated numbers from Lockridge. No slug, but already worth half a win this year on the strength of a .355 OBP. Puts up great ABs. Is elite at seeing pitches. Brewers can replace the numbers, but the replacement combo won't get them the same way.

Hoping the guy didn't suffer ligament damage. I'd be shocked if there wasn't a fracture in there somewhere. Depending on the type, you can probably avoid surgery and be back before September. But that's maybe career-impacting if there's soft tissue stuff too.

Damn, you guys are cold. Guy has barely been carted off and there’s speculation about a career-impacting injury and who’s gonna replace him.

I certainly wouldn’t speculate about a career ending injury but he is going on the IL so I don’t think my question is out of line…….i guarantee Arnold is discussing it.

prayers up for Lockridge

Is Miz an All Star?

The All-Star Game is in Philly this year.  He should be an All-Star even if he had an 8 ERA just based on how the Phillies reacted to him being one last year.

Yeah it’s fine IMO… it doesn’t mean that best wishes don’t go out to Lockridge. It means roster decisions will result.

He's not dying. Looks serious and long-term, but career ending is highly speculative. I remember when Yelich completely smashed his kneecap some years back.

My guess is Perkins is back up for a bit and then back down when Yelich returns. Black probably stays for now.

Definitely not shrugging it off. I really like Lockridge. And I sincerely hope it isn't career-impacting. It just looked really bad. I'm hoping we get a positive update from the team at some point tonight.
