Just see that's the first time we've swept STL at home in 15 years.

I was wondering why getting all three felt like it mattered. Have to love winning ALL SIX versus the Cubs and Cards this week.

Wow.  I'm just monitoring on Gameday but that win feels like a total smash and grab theft.  Not that I'm complaining.

Definitely feels that way. Ashby's superpowers are unimaginable.

If I was a Cardinals fan, this would have been the most maddening game to watch given everything that happened in the last 48 hours.

I really feel for them.

That whole series would make me wanna barf.  So does the concept of being a Cardinals fan.

I'd feel worse for the Cardinals if they didn't pull the same stunt for the better part of two decades.

I'll save my sympathy for when we put the Pirates in their place.

I’m not convinced that Torres misplayed that ball. It was hit hard and with a different angle the ball might have been past him. On a bright sunny day it might also have been hard to pick it up right away.

But the botched defense on the bunt and Winn’s boot were gifts.

Just 2 runs in the series for the Redbirds.

After today May might want to go back to coaching basketball.

That is a very, very nice win.

Wins come in bunches when you only give up two runs in three games

Good to see Trevor Mac hit 100mph on that last pitch.

Also very pleased with Chandler Patrick making a really good spot start. He wasn’t just an opener. Also Mitchell’s approach on last night’s home run and today’s double is awesome.

Megill hit 100mph for the first time all season on the final pitch of the game. Love to see that.

I winced before the last pitch when Dillard mentioned climbing the ladder or burying. a slider. I was already concerned about a game tying wild pitch before I heard “burying a slider”.

Fortunately he went with the high heat.

For amusement later I might pull up the replay of the Cardinals telecast on MLB TV and watch the 8th inning.

This redeems the gut punch 3-1 loss a few weeks ago when Milwaukee led 1-0 going into the 9th inning

I’m so glad to know I’m not the only one who does such things 😁

I know many view wins-losses as an antiquated stat.  But if Ashby continues this pace (as a homer I have no reason to believe he wont) and goes 28-0 with an era around 2, Im going to use my non-existent Cy Young vote on him.
