A Slubal trade would be the only major trade the Cubs would be able to do.  After their first three prospects and really Wiggins is not having a good year there is not much there for the Cubs to trade away.  

The Cubs could throw their literal kitchen sink of prospects at Detroit, and multiple other teams could outbid them simply by upping their ante from one of their B level prospects to an A level one.  

If the Tigers wind up trading Skubal, it won't be to the Cubs

I'm surprised we are waiting so long on Made, I have to think he is playing hardball with the price, ot this would have been done already.

If they extend fischer and plan on him playing 3rd next year there really isn't room for made yet unless they trade turang or vaughn and move fischer to 1b made to 3b then pena eventually would take cf maybe
