Ginn is a pretty decent starter.  Need to get his pitch count up and try and get him knocked out in five.

A's have a massive advantage with the starter

Ginn is good but that inning was more just a really bad job of hitting all around. No patience.

because no matter what, a right handed Vaughn can NOT bat against a right handed pitcher.

State law.

Weird thing is he's hitting .263 against right handers this season which is better than probably a third of the roster

I get they didn't expect Bauers to play every day. He's been great but someone else should be sitting when you have a lineup 6 deep.

Time to make up for some lost sleep from last night. Third shift's going to need to take this one to the finish line. Go get us number five in a row.

Also. You just want Vaughn hitting in this environment. I mean, cmon. I know he’s better against LHP as most righties are, but when you have literally one of the most hitters friendly paradise environments in MLB history where routine fly balls are turning into HRs, you want to take advantage of that as much as you can.

Man it would stink if Renfigo had to go to the DL .........................................................................................................................................................................yeah.

Homeplate umpire not very good tonight but fortunately for him Clint Vondrak gave him an extremely low bar to clear.

I’m proud of Gasser. He’s pitched decently in a difficult environment. Hopefully he’ll get through six innings before he departs. Good effort thus far.

Murphy needs to do an anti-Willie Mays Hayes and make players do pushups when they hit the ball on the ground and leg it out.

Yelich is escaping scrutiny.

He had two really awesome years for us and kind of helped usher in this new era of Brewer baseball the last 8-9 years and I’m grateful for that.

But I think even the biggest Yelich homer would admit this — if there was a DH only player on the open market who would give you a 120 OPS+ and the cost was $25M a year, we would have absolutely zero interest in signing that player.
