That’s a prototype for how the Brewers are going to have to win some of these games with the bottom of the barrel starters.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Another poor day at the plate for Vaughn.   One hit just isn’t going to cut it

Not touching this.......

I love momentum-turners, when they're in your favor. After the grand slam, Chourio basically put a choke collar on the Cleveland momentum, looked it in the eye, & said "Sit. Stay.'" Huge.

After what he did in LV, I guess we went back to the traditional Sproat. Fantastic first three innings, then walks two of the next three. If changing the sequence or pitch selection because second time through, not particularly smart. But whatever, another building block. And welcome back Chad Patrick. That cutter combined w/96-97, wow. It's why I love him in the 'pen.

Coupla nice knocks for Frelick.

Trevor May was recently talking about a stat he made up that he thinks is a good indicator for how good a team is. Basically he was measuring how a team responds to scoring/giving up a run. If you score a run in one half inning, does your pitching staff put up a 0 in response. Then vice versa as well if you give up a run does your offense respond? Anyway he said the Brewers lead in this stat and did last year as well. Feel like it certainly backs up the eye test. Feel like the Brewers are really good at controlling momentum.

Pretty certain there were no balls hit to him, or chances.

Correct. Only two through two games

Cramp for Sproat as per postgame presser. Will not miss his next turn. 👍.

I'm just going to say his leg was tightening up and that's why he looked bad in the 4th inning.

The way Cooper had the widest grin after his first at-bat and his first hit and after his first run scored and after his first RBI, etc ...

I hope he plays the game like that forever.
