It sounds like tonight's game might be in jeopardy, due to the smoke situation.  Brewers had an FB post about it.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.

There is some reason to hope that things will get better in time to decide to proceed with the game.

We have tickets for tomorrow and I will say that if tomorrow would be like yesterday we wouldn’t be going even if they played. Sitting in that kind of smoke, even with a mask on, would be extremely uncomfortable.

I'll be surprised if they don't play tonight.  Rescheduling a game with a team that only has one series here would be a pain (and a doubleheader later this weekend doesn't seem like the air quality answer either).

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

No one else is asking so I feel I must be either dumb or ignorant, so I must remove all doubt by asking this question.

Can’t they just improve the situation by … closing the roof?

I seem to recall them working to install some A/C upgrades awhile back, but I’m not sure how much outside air needs to be in as part of that process that could impact things.  Also, I think stuff like the concourses are open air?  I’m not usually looking away from the field, but I think there might be limits to how much they can “seal up” the field

Nearly 900 active fires continue to burn and about six million acres have been torched.

I don't think its going away any time soon.
