Some of that is his swing mechanics. That exaggerated vertical load leads to a ton of rollovers when you pull

I appreciate & understand limiting innings for our young pitchers … but four innings & 65 pitches seems too conservative to me. This game is far from over. I prefer Murphy’s “win today” approach.

Murphy said before the game they were going to have to build him back up workload wise.  Something to that affect, so I'm guessing he was penciled in for 60-70 pitches.

That makes me feel a little better. 65 pitches after missing just one start was a little concerning.

Yoho had thar bad inning on Saturday. But other than that hes been great in July.
