We need at least six innings from our ace … four last outing, five today … not enough. Ks are a cool stat. Winning the game is the better stat.

He would have gone 6 innings in both starts if they weren't limiting his innings.

Maybe the Brewers can wake up from their nap now.

Hard to do when the Brewers are managing pitch count for a young rotation to be healthy end of year. Happy to get 5 this time.

I've been quite underwhelmed with Lara defensively so far. His jumps have been really poor.

Yep, still getting used to the major leagues. He will win a couple of gold gloves before it's all said and done.

I don't know about that especially if he's going to be in CF. PCA is that good defensively.

From the good that I’ve seen, I believe that he’s fully physically capable of playing any MLB outfield position at a decent enough level.

From the bad that I’ve seen, his outfield instincts are still in AAA mode and he hasn’t made the adjustment to MLB hitting yet.

Everything happens faster and the margin for error is less.

Balls come off the bat differently, launch angles are different and exit velocities in general are higher.

Hopefully this will be something that is correctable with enough time and reps.

Would be curious to know what Vaughns batting average is in his third and fourth at bats in a game.  Seems like he does a lot of his damage later.

I predict Sanchez will waste our second challenge here.

A lot less than I care about the difference between the 2 and 3.

It can matter (see the NLDS last year) but a lot of other things will matter more in winning a series against the Dodgers than who would host Game 7. Neither is particularly better or worse at home or away, either.

Oh yeah, 2-to-3 seeds are a huge difference. I was just wondering how much people cared about 1-2.
