Burke is pretty slick at 1st base as well. He’s made some athletic defensive plays this season.

I think the Biloxi lineup tonight might as good as 4-6 mlb lineups around the league tonight. Crazy good.

That is why the brewers will need to be selectively trading prospects the next few deadlines...they have so damn many that profile as major leaguers they cant keep them all

The ‘26 international class looks to have given the team yet another future wave of impactful positional talent. The team’s international prospect-procurement abilities are so far ahead of the rest of baseball it’s beyond remarkable and approaching ridiculousness.

No idea how they can be this good and frankly don’t care, just want it to continue for as long as possible. This last class will extend the Brewers minor-league positional depth to epic proportions, and has given the team the ability to trade-off from depth positions without hurting the future at all — totally agree with Fear The Chorizo — the team NEEDS to thin out certain positional depth throughout the system for the betterment of the system development as a whole.

What a time to be a Brewers fan.

You almost have to be surprised as a catcher when you see a player of Burke's size take off running to swipe a bag. I personally always thought he was gonna be another Rowdy type but he's played decent to good defense at 1st and that semi has wheels on it. I wonder if the Brewers FO are higher on him than consensus. Wouldn't surprise me.

Fischer is tied for 14th in HR in the Southern League. He's played 32 games.
