Probably was scared he was going to get benched if he didn’t try and stretch it into a double.  That should be in blue but with pancakes it’s hard to tell.

I know I have  been critical of the Brewers offense in some recent years, but I don’t recall if I have used the word “inconsistent”.

But now I am talking about this year, and I don’t think I have said the offense has been inconsistent. I have pointed out that they have gone for periods of a month or longer this season in which their RPG has been near or below league average

Drohan’s outing so far reminds me of how he looked at the Twins game we attended. His command was off from the beginning and he wormed out of a couple innings early on before the wheels came off.

Turang swing just seems so long.    I can see how his timing can be off for stretches.    Kind of like Yelich

Really need to take him out here.  Given up a homer and single, got lucky on a double play with a pitch that was right down the middle and now a walk.

Do not. I normally just go to BRef and compile manually for stuff like that.

Would imagine it would be pretty easy to whip up some kind of runs scored / runs allowed matrix with minimal coding skills, kind of surprised there isn't an easily accessible one out there somewhere.

Looks like the Brewers have had 43 games this year where they scored two or three runs with a 14 W - 29 L (.326 W%) record in those games.

Some other NL contender records when scoring two or three runs in a game this season...

LAD (11 W - 26 L | .297 W%)
ATL (13 W - 16 L | .448 W%)
CHC (9 W - 16 L | .360 W%)
PHI (11 W - 15 L | .423 W%)
SDP (12 W - 29 L | .293 W%)
ARI (10 W - 19 L | .345 W%)

Throw in another 11 losses when the Brewers have scored zero or one runs in a game and that leaves a 70 W - 11 L record (.864 W%) when they've score four or more runs this year.
