I honestly can’t even fault Counsell for trying to get Boyd through this inning. His bullpen is so bad.

Agreed, but after the walk, it was time. And infield in with nobody out was not a good decision.

There are only a few things in life I enjoy seeing more than Counsell pacing around the dugout rubbing his head when the Cubs are playing the Brewers.

Was that single by Chourio a groundout with the infield at normal depth? I think it was.

I also get more pleasure outnof that than I probably should.  My favorite is also when he takes his hat off and rubs the top of his head with the back of his hat.

I think so. Never know for sure how they would have been positioned, but there’s at minimum a pretty good chance that’s a groundout.

It's mana from heaven. He honestly may be "the worst" in the league with showing irritation. Or it just may be his stupid face. If I was his player, I wouldn't enjoy him huffing and puffing and wearing his irritation. That's just me though.

I agree but love seeing things blow up in his face. Hopefully this pitching change does too.

Looking at the replay, it's a groundout but still ties the game.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

Our offense has been especially bad with two on and nobody out.  Strike outs looking, leaving  three bunt attempts foul, grounding into a double play…

It reminds me of a football team that is posting a shut out through 3 1/2 quarters, and then inexplicably they decide to play defense for the last five minutes and give up 14 points.

Play aggressive until the game is over

The Cubs aren't going anywhere in the playoffs with that bullpen.

They need like a 10 man piggyback approach. Their starters really aren’t that bad.
