He chased up for the 3rd strike.

I praised him for that and it was up but fairly close to the strike zone, not eye level.

5 innings of one run ball is rough? I take that every single time.

No doubt. Miz is definitely gassed and not in mid season form though. Which is understandable.

Yes.  The result was fine.  I’ll of course take the win But let’s not pretend he’s been the same pitcher in the playoffs as he was in the regular season

I think its just a perception based on sky high expectations.   When you have  a season like hes had 5ip with a run can be a letdown.

First time World Series jitters maybe, kudos to Henderson for buckling down

Error didn’t help things at all

Managed a zero. Going to need a lot of middle relievers tonight. Don’t think you want to try to get a third inning out of Henderson barring a 5 or 6 run inning on offense here.

He’s for sure going back out.

They're just comparing what he looked like yesterday vs all year long. He wasn't quite as sharp...

But Henderson will have a short leash next inning. I'm fine with going to the pen next inning, but would prefer to see him get the 1st out!

You have to remember he called a middle middle an upper zone.  So that was probably a lower zone one.

Can't challenge in the 2nd inning in this situation WIlliam.

Disagree. Henderson really needed an assist there and don't want him reeling and down 3-1. I get why he challenged that one.  I don't think he would have if Henderson isn't struggling a ton.

Brewers outs have been hard hit for the most part also

Yup. Chourio was RIGHT on that FB. Rasmussen is going back to the 4 seamers.

This is a GREAT AB by Chourio. Exactly what we need to do. Tampa does NOT have the BP depth.

Rasmussen nearly at 50 through 2.
