Just cracked open a beer with my Ueck bottle opener, Ueck magic incoming.

Ueck, give me a sign if it is one run per beer cracking. I have 13 more, I will take one for the team.

I mean you say this like Bauers and Vaughn aren’t roughly defensive equals, which they pretty much are. Bauers made those plays tonight and good on him, they were huge. But Vaughn is equally capable of making or missing those same exact plays. We know Bauers isn’t playing these games for his glove.

High throw I think he’s just referring to Bauers being taller and needing every inch of it

If Vaughn was in the game the Rays would be winning

Well he could have easily got put in here now and did something other than wave at strike 3 to further extend the lead.

I like Bauers, but he's lost hitting - at some point you gotta give Vaughn a chance to hit against a lefty and break the game open...IMO that was the time

Vaughn doesn’t make that diving play and dive either.

1 is obviously good but they couldn’t have screwed that inning up anymore.    Mitchell has to be on 2nd on a ball to the gap.  Jackson has to calm the hell down and Vaughn just rots during big spots

I don’t know if 2 inches was the difference between that play being made or not, but a play that already occurred is not an argument either way against Vaughn,

I don't think they are. Bauers is better. 4 OAA. Vaughn -3... in far fewer.

The depth of this team is a strength. I don’t like what I’ve seen from a few guys tonight but the bottom of the order is picking them up.

One more zero from Miz and our bullpen can get us the rest of the way

Vaughn is still in Murphy's doghouse.

With how many bad throws our infield has been making, I have zero interest in seeing Vaughn in the field.
