So...no one is going to say anything about the fact that Joe Davis apparently reads the in-game threads here and had thoughts about the idea of pitching Miz last night?

It’s near impossible for a non closer reliever to get MVP consideration.  It’s just how it is.

What Ashby has done has been... NEAR impossible.

If ever there was a year....

Sure, he is after all just one guy. But I have no idea why he wouldn't be playing. Not one manager in MLB would choose Vaughn over him.

I mean maybe, I don’t know?

Vaughn had a 134+ wRC this season, Yelich was 92.

Vaughn, statically, has been very good. What am I missing that makes him the inferior DH?

How is Ashby never on those MVP graphics?

How many times has a reliever won the award? I bet that stat would be the answer.

I have no idea either but doesn't bode well for him in 2027 with that arby # even with Bauers moving on....

Man the Rays have to be wondering what would happen if Ras pitched the 5th and then go Martinez-Baker

Imagine you see Mullins PH’inf for Walls and then Mateo replacing him at SS

Would leave only Fortes on the bench

If there was an award for the entire playoffs, I think he would get it, what he's done in the World Series has been great but what's really impressive is how he did it across all 3 series and was lights out the entire time.

Dude... 4 outs away and you're STILL complaining! That's still anxiety?

Vaughn was put into games ONLY vs the matchups that BEST suited him... Yelich was not.

I also assumed we'd be talking about the POST-SEASON... where Yelich has been VERY good.

Looks like it’s gonna be Trevor-Ashby

Backwards? Or maybe you just go Megill for 6 or until he looks tired. This is for everything!

We are literally just having a non-hostile discussion/debate in the IGT. Is that okay with you?

Or Trevor-Trevor...

There's really no point to continuing this, but yeah...
