I don't think they would have brought Henderson up if they intended to start him on Sunday. Certainly can pitch tonight if things go sideways with Priester.
If Durbin can't play 3B he is kind of useless on this Brewers team. Their plan must have been Ortiz at 3B, Turang at SS and Durbin at 2B before Turang stated having issues. Durbin is just another Tyler Black with Turang set at 2B for years to come.
Pathetic with the bases loaded today and that cost them, kind of hate the broadcasters were giving praise to Collins for grounding into a double play, that killed the rally.
He should stick around as long as he is performing, as noted he walks way too many. Has been a bit lucky but cautiously optimistic that he he can make some corrections and continue to succeed. Not a bad return for Abraham Toro.
Looking forward to seeing what Mears can do in a full season with Milwaukee.
Going to be tough keeping Thomas active for 90 days this season with all of these guys eventually coming back. Maybe his rehab assignment in the minors will be an audition to see if he is ever brought back up to the Brewers.
The Brewers are going to be losing a ton of starting pitching this off season. Wile many don't like the trade I think this trade could work well in the short term and long term. They likely don't make this trade if they didn't have the need but it is nice to have a young starting pitcher controlled for many years, perfect timing.
The Molitor lot used to be my favorite lot but ruined it with the separate ride share section occupying a number of parking space and also an exit. Now it takes too long to exit and everything funnel sto.
Yelich and Contreras have proved themselves while Capra and Dunn are fringe. Dunn hasn't even played much at AAA even though he is older. Hopefully they get get a 3B at the deadline if they are still in it.
Old friend Cam Devanney had a walk off HR for Omaha last night, his 4th HR in 5 games. He is 27 and still hasn't had his shot in the majors, hope it happens this season. Wish he was the one getting a look this season for the Brewers.
Capra had to turn heads if he wanted to stick around since he is a fringe guy. His defense hasn't been great either. He maybe gets another week then somebody else gets a try.
The link addresses every single Brewers Player on the IL at a point in time. I think it is a nice summary that Adam McCalvy prepares and updates on a regular basis. The link isn't clickbait, it's convenient to have at the top because if you are ever curious about the injury status of a Brewers on the IL click it and it will have the most up to date info on every injured Brewer.
Nice to see Mears pitch nearly two innings yesterday. Looks like he may be ready to go late next week with a minimum stay on the IL. Will be interesting to see how things go with Woodruff and Myers these next couple of weeks as well.
I hope he gets the start for the Brewers Friday. They are not going to lose a year of control with him so right back down after the game but would rather see Miz than a guy like Alexander get a start.
