Do you realize how many people I know that would buy that shirt? At least 5. Those are great

I would say 75% of the public will not get it.

That's not a good sign for sales.

Are you saying that 75% of the public can't do simple math?

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

What bullox said, and also, a green T-shirt doesn't get you thinking Packers.

May I ask what color does?

Looks to me like the numbers have a yellow/gold outline as well. Looks like Packer colors to me.

What color are the Packers' home jerseys again?

And 75% of the public doesn't have to get it. The target market for the shirt would presumably be limited to Packers/Wisconsin sports fans, not Americans, or world citizens. Unless you are flat-out calling Packers/Wisconsin sports fans stupid, I'm quite sure you're incorrect. Oof.

I'd at least make the number "4" bigger to make it stand out more. Maybe make the "12" actually 3 times bigger on the shirt than the "4" but keep the other words a smaller font size.

Otherwise, it's clever. I doubt I'd buy it as is, though.

Or maybe -- something like "4 was great, but 12 is 3 times better"

I think I like the original better Joey. It doesn't blatantly refer to anything other than the numbers. More of a fun play on words with a fun implication that not everyone will pick up on.

I would need to see a green more like the Packers' green to make the connection myself. A plain dark green T-shirt doesn't make me think of the Packers.

Again, I do not see it having anything but an extreme niche market. I would agree with FTJ, his version makes it easier to understand what it's trying to say.
