4/29/08 Brewers (Sheets) at Cubs (Marquis): 7:05 PM CDT

[iluvlamp]

Poor JJ. Getting screwed but gets a hit. Seriously? How is he going to get good pitches when he is batting before a pitcher. NED! Stop your LaRussa JagBagging!

Either way pitcher in the 8 or 9 spot, JJ is going to be hitting in front of him.

Umm, unless JJ is hits in front of Kendell. Unless you were being technical.

[And That]

Do you think they boo Gwynn because of his dad and the 84's NLCS and not because of opening day?

I think they do not think. They're Cubs fans.

[endaround]

Lean into it!

[mastershake76]

that was a funny looking strike on Gwynn

[trwi7]

Screw you Paul Nauert.

[palmettoscott]

How was that a strike to TGJ

[hurricanecrush]

How was that a strike?

[mastershake76]

surprised that last one wasn't called a strike, too. who cares if it bounced in there.

[Marc Newfield of Dreams]

A 5 ball walk for TG2. Nicely done.

[adambr2]

At least Gwynn walked anyway, but I'm so sick of the inconsistent strike zone.

[And That]

Please don't ground into a double play. Please don't ground into a double play. Please don't ground into a double play. Please don't ground into a double play. Please don't ground into a double play.

[iluvlamp]

OK. So I see the onslaught. JJ batted 8th and we should all adopt this phantom approach.

[HighLifeandPeanuts]

nice at bat Tony.

[rluzinski]

The Brewers have been very close to busting this wide open a number of times. Can this finally be it?

[Blancofan1]

just keep showing up the Cubs Kendall. Now would be a great time for 1 of your handfull of homers this year.

[dlk9s]

How about another bases loaded squeeze?

[trwi7]

Slappy got on base!

[OOOverbay]

Brewers... Brewers... turning up the heat!

[iluvlamp]

Come on Worst!

[mastershake76]

Come on, Kendall, cram it up their ... butts

[dlk9s]

Please don't ground into a double play. Please don't ground into a double play. Please don't ground into a double play. Please don't ground into a double play. Please don't ground into a double play.

He won't. He'll pop to short.

[trwi7]

Handful? Stick both of your middle fingers up in the air. That's more like the total number of homers he'll hit this year.

[Marc Newfield of Dreams]

GOOD EYE KID!

[iluvlamp]

HA!

[mastershake76]

Lord, I don't ask for much...
