I've never heard it, but I have heard of it.

It's like a plague on pop radio right now (reduntant, I know). It also seems to have become the new anthem for annoying party girls.

"My Humps" was Fergie's band (the Black-Eyed Peas), if memory serves.

'Um-bur-el-la' was Rhianna, and equally annoying.

 

When the Katy Perry song is on, all I hear is Auto-tone. (That modulation you hear just about every time she says words like 'my' or 'try' ....that's because she can't sing.) Horrible song.

But yeah "I kissed a girl" is pretty awful to.

 

I guess I don't like any modern music. I am a huge oldies fan, nothing beats the Beatles or CCR among others,

The first time I had heard of this song was when I was in Arizona. My dopey cousin Ethan was singing it while we were in a grocery store buying booze and I requested him to tell me the lyrics, as they were not very good. I told him my cat Wicket could've written those lyrics in his kitty litter if you catch my drift.

 

I had assumed the song was sung by a male, but as soon as it came on the radio in the car(a horrible coincidence) my cousin cranked the volume and I was suprised/delighted to hear it was a female. It's still a horrific song, but I'd assume the music video would be a little less so.

I always thought "Final Countdown" was the penultimate stupid song.

 

At the first instance I heard Avril Levigne classified as "punk" I pretty much stopped listening to modern music.

I'm with sbrylski, I've heard of it but haven't actually heard it. I can't imagine it's worse than "Holla Back Girl" though. I saw No Doubt at the Marcus Ampitheatre when I was like 11 and then she came out with garbage like that.

For me, nothing will ever be worse than "Beverly Hills" by Weezer. I didn't know it was possible to hate something that much.

Ugg, EFO was one of the worst things that ever happened.

 

I don't see the allure of girls kissing each other that makes dudes freak out. It means one of two things: A) she's a lesbian and not interested in me, or B) she's attention-starved and likes to create a scene so I'm not interested in her.
