is it states that you've visited or states that you've spent at least one night in (I'm assuming you mean sleep)? I'm confused because so many have "visited XX states (XX%)".

 

I'll have to do this when I get home. Do they have this for a world map?

I think there is a world map. You could choose any state you've been in but for this thread I tried to narrow it down to states you've spent a night in - as in you stopped and slept there.

I've driven through, rode a train through(Delaware) or set foot on(Alaska) every state except Washington and Oregon. Also Guam where America's day begins.

I'm pretty well-traveled east of the Mississippi River -- couldn't quite get to Vermont on my trips through New England. I plan on taking a trip on I-90 from Madison to Seattle when the Brewers play the Mariners. That should take care of WY, ID, MT, and WA.

I've visited/driven through a lot more, but these are the only ones I've spent the night in. I've actually driven a couple hours from Houston just to cross the Louisiana border. I stopped at a gas station, turned around, and drove back to my hotel.

Apparently, I need to get out east. Florida was a Disney trip in college, New York was a spring break trip to Cooperstown. That's it. If the question is "states you visited" instead of "states you spent the night in" my map fills up quickly to almost every state.
