What players, for whatever reason, would you not want as a Brewer period.

This started out of conversations I was having with a guy who seems to really hate almost half the league and wouldn't want them as Brewers. I only have a short list of active/semi-active players that would anger me if they were on the Crew

Milton Bradley comes to mind right away. At the time, I wouldn't want Barry Bonds and that media circus around our younger guys like Braun, Fielder, Weeks, etc.

 

I also wouldn't want Ben Sheets back, or a Rich Harden deal due to injury risks.

 

There is probably a few more that I can come up with later, but these come to mind right away.

I completely agree. I think the Brewers have a strong enough club house to handle players with "personality" such as Manny, Bradley, and Zambrano. FWIW I'd love to have Milton Bradley playing for the Brewers. He can flat out hit, and we both have something in common, our hatred of the Cubs.

Carlos Silva, I just dont think he can help anyone. At least Milton Bradley could help a team. Not a player but I never want to see Dave Stewart around Miller Park. I m holding a big grudge against him for leaving the Brewers mid year.

In theory, I'd be willing to see the Brewers sign any jerk for league min if he was good. I'd need to have near-undeniable proof of serious problems before I'd say I'd never want a talented player on the Brewers. Even Bradley, if he were super cheap, I'd be fine with, as they could release him after he acts up. In practice, my list will probably be the same as most other posters' because I'd never want that guy on the Brewers for what he's getting paid.

He wasn't half bad as a Twin or Giant either. He is a hot head. He is a little irreverent. He's also better than any catcher the Brewers have had since Simmons. I would love to have him.

Why does everyone hate Milton Bradley? He had a bad year with the Cubs last year, but those "fans" never gave him a chance. The only people I don't want on the Brewers again are Bill Hall and Geoff Jenkins, cuz they both suck.
