Dear Brewers, please remind us how good winning feels. Thanks! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I won't get to see a portion of this game, so I'm hoping the Brewers can hang some runs up on Cueto before I get home.

Of course, with Gallardo going, it'll be a 1-0 final in favor of one team or the other.

I'm sure this won't be received well, but I wouldn't be opposed to taking a page out of nsbb's book and go with something like Sewers @ Reds for the thread title.

I said out loud "runner on 3rd, 1 out. I wonder how they won't be able to score the run this time." That was definitely a new one.

This Rolen AB is Yo in a nutshell, up in the count 0-2, misses badly twice, close once.. full count... foul off a couple of pitchers and all of a sudden the pitch count for the inning is blown.

Runner on 3rd, one out for the second inning in a row, and Gerut takes a pitch right down the middle for strike 3. Ugh.

Runner on 3rd with one out in the 1st inning. No runs.

Runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out in the 2nd inning. No runs.

At some point Zaun needs to start setting up in the strike zone on 0-2 and 1-2 counts. He makes our pitchers nibble way too much.

Cueto has nasty stuff. Hits all of his locations. Think the Reds would take Suppan for him and Chapman?

A note on Chapman he's either been really good or really bad so far in AAA. In his 2 bad starts he's given up 14 ER, in the other 5 starts, 4 ER. He's been easy to follow because every time he starts he's a headline on MiLB.com, just like Strasburg.

The Brewers have a lead. My goodness. If I were at GABP I'd take a photo of the scoreboard just to remind myself what a lead looks like.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

why send Zaun on that? Weeks has been struggling, for sure, but still. I wouldn't take the chance of sending a slow runner against a good arm, even if "a perfect throw was the only thing that would get him." (yes, nobody said that, but I hear about it all the time.) Well, guys with a good arm make a perfect throw fairly often and Fischer should know this before sending a slow runner.
