Why can we never get to scrub young starters? It's really not even a surprise when it happens anymore.

Good question, it is begining to get really old. It has become routine. Luckly in the postseason we won't be facing an scrub young pitchers.

Your expectations are simply too high.

Your sense of humor is simply not there.

Greinke is just getting crushed. Once again, infuriating.
When a Brewer starting pitcher has given up 1 earned run in 3+ IP, it's hard for me to muster up more than mild annoyance over his performance.

Terrible throw by Lucroy.

As someone else mentioned, Greinke has thrown very few off speed pitches for strikes. Stros are jumping on fastballs like mad.
Which against a young/over aggressive team is not a good thing.

Guys, the Brewers were incredibly hot for an insane amount of time, now they are losing some games. That's how it works. This was practically inevitable. Despite struggling, Greinke has only given up 2 runs in 4 IP. Plenty of game left.

If you find yourself getting too frustrated, just look at the standings. Things are almost certainly going to be OK.

7 hits now in 3 plus innings to this triple A team.........We needed a stopper the last 2 days and neither Greinke or Yo were up to the task.

A few of those were pretty weakly hit. And this game isn't over. Let's stop with the sky is falling attitude and have some perspective.

I dont think you get the point.

If the point is to make reactionary post in the in game thread every time a pitcher gives up a few singles then sure I don't get it. 2 runs in 4 innings is not infuriating, and one of those runs is largely attributable to a bad throw on a stolen base.

I'll relax when we clinch the division

I understand everyone will be a little on edge until we clinch but some people are acting like the Brewers are suddenly the worst team in baseball. Yes it's been a frustrating week. Sometimes I don't understand how a team can go from just dominating to stinking up the joint in such a short span. But like I said, perspective. However, if they haven't won another game by next week, then I'll join everyone at the ledge.

No the point is that Greinke all year seems to space out in games and then snap out of it. Its like he cant pitch his best unless there is some pressure.

I never said the sky was falling. Facts are facts. We had favorable pitching matchups against the Cards and other then Marcum they didn't get the job done.

Greinke against this scrub should have been a solid win. Instead Zack brings his road form again and we don't do anything offensively...again.

I'm glad the Cards are losing but we need to start playing good baseball again.

Would anyone disagree with that?

A chair would look so good in a Brewer uniform its sickening
A chair would not swing at a low, outside breaking pitch on the first pitch following a 5-pitch walk.

Hyperbole. Greinke's given up 2 runs or fewer in 9 of his last 10 starts, including games against CIN, STL, ARI, and COL. He lowered his ERA from 5.66 to 4.05 from beginning of July to end of August.
