2011-10-14 Brewers (Greinke) at Cardinals (Garcia) [Brewers lose, 7-1; trail NLCS, 3-2]

[Menotti80]

On the road vs the Cardinals,I think narveson is the better pitcher. Combine that with greinke being the better option at home than marcum...

So narveson/greinke gives up a better chance to win in 6 than greinke/marcum

Check out Greinke's performances at home in the playoffs this year and let me know if it's a magical Greinke/Miller Park invulnerability bond that created those wins or just good hitting behind him.

No offense, but those animations are not funny and pretty dumb.

But I know all of ZG's stats at home. I know he's not a great pitcher there but the only thing that matters is the brewers record when he pitches at home vs on the road.

[Ranier]

I'd hate to be a starter for Larussa, I'd be so afraid to make a mistake knowing I would be yanked immediately.

[burnzy24]

Great job JHJ! Get into that overworked bullpen

Exactly. Our odds of coming back just improved.

[fondybrewfan]

Braun has got to come through here. Get atleast one more in

[ReverendBrewmeister]

The bullpen early again. Will they show signs of overuse? It's time for a blowup from the Cardinals relievers.

[Oldcity]

I for one love the gifs

[Team Canada]

Let's just go ahead and tie it up right now.

[ELCABALLO45]

I love the gifs as well.

I agree that they are dumb, but they're pretty funny too.

Reading this IGT is bumming me out even more. Why post doom and gloom? The Brewers are in the NLCS. It's not over.

No matter how recently we had a huge comeback win, there is no doubt that the IGT will make you think we are on the brink of epic franchise collapse.

Go back and read around page 14 of yesterday's IGT if you want a good laugh.

[Funketown]

I for one love the gifs

+1.

Michael Bluth cannot tell a lie.

I for one love the gifs

I for two love them as well

[dlk9s]

lol at the first called strike to Braun.

[jason21nl]

NO! a strike??

[Oldcity]

Oh what a horrible call! God!

[Mr QL]

Ummmm what? How is that a strike?

[ninja33]

oh my lord that second pitch wasn't even close, blue.

[Schlitz001]

What? The second pitch was further away than the first.

[B2k1121]

Seriously? Strike 1?

[jjkoestler]

I want a gif response.

Let's do it Braunie.

[mastershake76]

BA: "going after the same spot..."

Well... yeah. If you find a spot that's not even close that gets called a strike every time... yeah, go back there I guess.

[Beast Light]

good grief.

[jason21nl]

missed one again

[Oldcity]

How was that pitch not hit 420 feet?

[fondybrewfan]

And he swings right through a hanger
