Everytime I listen to Augie I feel like he is talking to fans as if they are 10 year old kids who have never watched a baseball game before.

What I learned today is if your bullpen is going to suck it's good to have "veterans" out there because they can handle it better.

Good to know...............

Every time I listen to Augie I feel like I'm listening to a worse version of Bill Swerski.

If Ax has another good outing, I can see him right back in the closer's role sooner rather than later.

I now have another reason to watch the games...all the stuff Russ said, watching Ryan Braun be Ryan Braun...and defending Augie! What can I say, I've loved the Brewers since I was that 10 year old that didn't know anything about baseball and I miss all my old drunk uncles. I freaking love Augie...der hey. Been my favorite since he was our best up and coming pitcher...granted it was a brief moment, but he was. Wisconsin proud!

Why... why.. is it so necessary to always use some sort of squeeze play with a runner on third and less than two out with anyone other than Braun or Ramirez at the plate?

Why are you mad at Roenicke? It looks we have a consensus that it's not about winning games anymore. It's about seeing what you've got. Hey I wonder if Maldonado is good at bunting. Let's find out here.

Our manager just has to make it about him....can't just let the players decide the game. 1st and 3rd with the infield in ....2 chances to get the ball out of the infield to give you the lead or god forbid you could even have a big inning.

Calling for a bunt with a runner on 3rd and no one out does seem rather unwise; especially since Maldonada is more than capable of driving him in another way. Its one thing to have Ransom, Izturis, or the like bunt there; its quite another to have a guy with some power do it.

Sometimes when I see the Brewers start putting together a potential rally, I wish someone would gag and tie up Roenicke and throw him in a closet somewhere in the clubhouse until the game is over, because it's usually a strong possibility that Roenicke will manage his way out of scoring when he could have DONE NOTHING and gotten better results.

Ax seems to be rejuvinated...

I am laughing at the RR comments, biting my lip, but laughing none the less.

I have a humiliating Augie story. I got there early for the 2d playoff game in 81 at Yankee Stadium and was out in the bleachers watching the pitchers warm out so I yelled out to Augie to throw a ball to the Brewer fan. So he did but then a kid went for it too and I didn't want to take it away from the kid so I pulled away and the kid did too since he was obviously throwing to me and it fell into the bullpen. Augie was talking to another player, pointed back towards us and gave a disgusted wave.

Guy on third (who has average speed), no outs, infield in, and you lay down the squeeze?

That's awesome.

This obsession with bunting is very strange.
