I don't mind not sweeping every series, but I hate these games where the Brewers decide to take the day off (or whatever) and make a horrible pitcher look like Sandy Koufax.

agreed, I'd like all the momentum possible heading towards St. Louis, on the other hand if they do come back and win that would give us amazing momentum

Not a bad start from Peralta by any stretch. Win or lose the starters continue to be great.

Knowing how bad the Brewers are against the Cardinals, I would have pushed hard for a win today. The Brewers are just as likely to swept in St. Louis as they are to split. A win against the Cubs would soften the blow of whatever bad result comes in the St. Louis series. Ugh I hate playing the Cards. Not looking forward to the next four days.

Well that was my first game yesterday; of course I would go to the game with the worst lineup and worst performance of the year.

 

Plus our group of 7 (5 tickets + two infants) were in the outfield bleachers and were constantly squeezed in our seats by some rather large individuals. Eventually we said screw it and just walked around the park for 5 innings.
