.@Jimmy_J_Nelson left tonight's game for precautionary reasons with right arm soreness. #MILatChC

I've long been a fan of traditional BB, but I think its time for the DH... Just too much specialization in the game anymore.

That and Ryan Braun as a DH is probably a benefit for the next 3 years.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

So we lose Nelson and suddenly we should go to the DH huh? lol

Anderson and Guerra earlier in the year. Pitchers shouldn't be batting.

At the very least, it should not be different rules for different leagues. There's no logic that AL teams should not have the same risks for their pitcher that NL pitchers do as long as both leagues are competing for the same trophy.

And yeah having Braun to DH the next few years would be a big benefit.

Strange to walk Arcia there

Cubs were trying to coax counsel into pulling hader for ph.

Curious as to how often an intentional walk is issued with the bases empty. It has to be extremely rare even for the best of the best hitters.

Neither league wants to change.........if it was going to happen it would have already.

I agree it's stupid.......they never should have allowed the AL to go to the DH if the NL wasn't going to do it too.

Rockies up 1-0 ......this Dodger slide is bizarre and couldn't have come at a worst time for us.

Well their slide is why we won 2 games against them. Would you rather have them dominating and sweep us?

Braun should try to steal here. If he gets thrown out, Shaw likely gets to face a righty to start the 9th right?

Edit - oh well.

They basically did it to Braun right there, the old unintentional intentional all pitches low and away walk
