I'm getting hooked into "the ark" on syfy.  Basic premise is that the earth is dying and humanity is sending out "arks" to potential new homes.  The story follows the first ark mid flight after something happens to it and now the crew are in a fight for survival.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Has anyone seen Wednesday?

Is it worth my time?

I enjoyed it.  I think it took a little to get going, but once it did, it was good.  It is interesting to see how Wednesday grows in the series.

Oh... the Kayak / Canoe race is pretty funny, too.

The Night Agent on Netflix.  Very good.  It just came out on 3/23 IIRC.

It was good, binged it all in one day on Sunday.

Some stuff I've really enjoyed recently:

The Silo (on Apple) - sci fi. Probably could have shaved off two episodes but it's very good.

The Bear S2 (on Hulu) - just a wonderfully written and acted dramatic comedy.  They really capture restaurant life to a T.

The Diplomat (Netflix) - political thriller. Really smart. Really good.

Its been a while since I found a TV show that really hooked me in, but HiJack on Apple TV has done that. 3 episodes have aired and there are 4 left. Each 3 that I has had me on the edge of my seat for the entire hr.

My wife and I have started watching Fatal Attraction on Paramount Plus.

There are 8 episodes, we are starting episode 6, and so far, I have found it entertaining.

Heels season 2 started last week.  The first episode was good.  If you haven't watched season 1 it is on STARZ but it is a really good series.

A little bit older of a movie (2010), but my wife and I watched "Knight and Day".  A pretty smart RomCom that is pretty fast moving.  With Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, it feels like Mission Impossible crossed with the better parts of Charlie's Angels (the movie).

Going further back to 2003... "The Rundown" with The Rock, Seann William Scott, Christopher Walken and Rosario Dawson.  Felt a lot like Rock's version of Jumanji, but less smolder.

Almost Paradise put out another season on Amazon Prime.  If you are a Christian Kane fan (The Librarian series or Leverage), it is a light hearted, feel good cop series set in the Philippians.  Nothing earth shattering or new...  just a feel-good, easy to watch and unwind type show.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Shrinking on Apple TV+ is extremely good. And with the new season of Ted Lasso releasing, it’s worth a month or two of subscription.

I just started watching Ted Lasso and it's fantastic. It's got a feel good vibe combined with good humor. Hard to beat.

One that I've found better than expected is Halo. I was leery of shows based off video games but I must say I'm warming up to them.

Going to bump this up just watched episode 5 and this was the best episode.  The story is really interesting and I just love it.  If you are looking for a show to watch and you like wrestling then you have to watch this.

Loki is good.

There's a show on Prime, "Sprung," that's funny and kinda clever. It's the Mom and Dad from a show called "Raising Hope," that was on a while back. Watched it sporadically, but that show was funny. They have a very different dynamic in this one, but the story is they all get out of Prison due to Covid and being non-violent offenders and are trapped together and the "Good guy," is kinda roped into being the mastermind of these smaller heists.

Funny and surprising show.

Monarch on Apple TV has my attention after two episodes. I'm not usually into that genre but I like it.

Some good stuff out there right now:

- Slow Horses (Apple TV) British spy show based on a series of best-selling books.

- Murder at the End of the World (FX/Hulu) - murder mystery that takes place at an isolated resort in Iceland

- Monarch (see above)

- Fargo Season 5 (FX/Hulu) Back on their game after what I thought was a mediocre season 4.
