We have a lot of good, but not great relievers. It should work favorably for people who don’t like guys in specified roles. If Hader doesn’t get the 8th inning I’d imagine the 8th inning will get spread out a lot.

I know ERA is not the greatest stat but it's amazing to me with basically only relievers getting paid that a guy with a 1.62 ERA in 63 appearances last year only landed 2/5.

I was all for keeping the extra PH's for just this series, but if you're not going to PH for Villar when you know you're going to put in a defensive sub for him anyway, what exactly was the point? You're not likely to get much use out of your bench just by PH'ing for your pitcher.
