I know you want to be right on everything you post (like telling everyone Braun will be the odd man out, over and over again) but you’re grasping at straws here. I didn’t want to be saddled with a long free agent contract to an aging pitcher. There was nothing stopping Stearns from signing plenty of pitchers on 1-2 year deals.(Unless pitchers really didn’t want to sign here) He obviously thought otherwise. I’ll let that play itself out before I start even entertaining the fans pounding their chests yelling I told you so.

Ah, there it is, the same, tired Ad hominem attacks. What exactly was it that you found so offensive because you are literally agreeing with what I said.

I’ll respond in a PM to not drag down this thread.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

So you most likely have Hernan and then top of the order in the 9th. I'll take it.

Think they'd opt for Sogard if it's vs. RHP. Better matchup, better on base chance.

Villar of all people goes up and has the professional AB while Pina and Arcia step in hacking and try to play hero.

Its not like Arcia came up and swung at pitches out of the zone all of the pitches he swung at were strikes. Pina sure I can see that but Arcia swung at pitches that were clearly strikes and in the zone and they were not close pitches either.

Sounds like a lead off walk and a bomb to end this one.

I thought Arcia would have a really good year at the plate. VERY early yet, but hasn't looked good.

Worth the price of admission in the field though... Fun to watch.

Jonathan Villar consistently has professional ABs. That isn't really new. He strikes out quite a bit, but he works his counts. Pina does like to play hero it seems and Arcia did his usual never working a count.

[sarcasm]I was kind of hoping to see Yelich bat again.[/sarcasm]

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I think I would’ve rather seen Perez than Sogard. That was hard to type.

Give the bullpen credit. They have already had a huge workload due to our rotation but they have been A plus so far this season.

I'd rather have seen Choi than either.

So true.

Rally caps on. Holy Jeez. I haven't seen anything on the score, read through the thread, thought the game was 8 or 9-0...and yet it's 4-3? when I check? The whining here is pitiful!

The product of increased expectations.
