Half the farm? Sure. Yet, a trio of top prospects for 2 and a half years of deGrom is awake.

If that trio involves either Peralta or Hiura, I'm still sound asleep.

damnn. that stinks. can't split with royals at home. gotta sweep.

Even with a loss today (far from given), that is 3 of 4 on the year. Hard to ask a team to sweep 4 games against anyone, especially with how banged up this Crew was yesterday and today.

Why would Yost pinch hit a lefty vs Hader?

I was hoping to get "Yosted" but it was not meant to be.

This is on Counsell. He had no business keeping Suter out there after the walk

agreed.

This is on an offense that is wildly inconsistent, not Counsell, again. We've had at least three games where Jesus Aguilar is the only run producer. Counsell makes one decision at a pivotal moment that doesn't work out, which is more memorable than the bad offense we've come to expect.

Not sure taking Suter out would have mattered the way Hader is throwing anyway.

The offense is bad but Counsell needs to pull his starter when it’s obvious that he’s lost it.

In Counsell's defense, Suter went from dominating to throw batting practice in like three seconds. Just a frustrating game all around today.

Ugly inning. Unsure about the pitching management by Counsell at times. Once Suter reached six innings in a close game, the bullpen should have been warming. Probably should've been a quicker hook. Don't really get the move from Jeffress to Hader. Regardless of how it turned out, I don't quite get the rationale. It isn't like Jeffress can't get outs in those type of jams.
