I honestly think he has been.

Helps to be constantly on the bench to be available to pinch hit.

.258/.368/.290/.659

 

Aside from zero power, not too shabby.

 

As a starter (70 PA):

 

.082/.188/.115/.303

 

Very shabby

I guess if extra basehits are totally meaningless it's a good line. A .659 OPS is still not very good.

 

As a PH...honestly...getting on base and getting runs in is pretty good. No power? I will suffer.

Williams needs to be reliable when our best relievers aren’t available. Many times he has proven not to be the most trustworthy.

I feel like we got really lucky that inning. I'm not feeling that we can stay lucky all game. Bullpen is going to need to dig deep.
