Well that was a disappointing inning that may come back to haunt them tonight. I hate piling on the new guy, but he has really hurt them by giving awful at-bats in the #4 spot in the order.

Schoop is swinging at some pitches not very close to the strike zone.

 

Like Arcia, Schoop seems to be constantly down 0-2, 1-2.

 

That last AB was probably his best one so far as a Brewer, sadly.

It’s great that he was hot for the Orioles but Schoop probably needs to be moved down in the order until he gets comfortable.

 

On a plus, he helped rack up Kershaws pitch count. 52 pitches through 3 innings is nice.

Ouch. I remember someone posting Schoop's reaction to being traded, and it wasn't great. Moustakas seemed ecstatic to be here, Schoop not so much. I think the trade clearly had an effect on him. Hopefully he can settle in.
