Such a Brewers play!! Wait, that was the Cubs!!! I guess other good teams can kick and throw the ball around.

Cleaely the Cubs aren’t a playoff team, playoff teams don’t give away runs or games. :laughing

Has Contreras always been this bad behind the plate? I mean this is simple catching the ball stuff...not even blocking in the dirt

He is not the greatest.

Cain looked so lost up there that AB

I believe he has always been a bat first player. I would guess it doesn’t help that he didn’t even begin catching games as a professional until he turned 20.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Patient at-bats and making pitchers throw strikes. Who are these guys?

They were pretty much begging the pitcher to throw a strike. Showed zero interest swinging. Heck even being in the box.

That's one of the filthiest sliders I've ever seen. Starts at him and breaks into the zone for a strike. At 90 mph.

I wouldn't want any part of that either.

Talk about a scrub pitching line, age 26 with two cups of coffee and a career WHIP way over 2.00 and you put him in in the 6th down only a couple.

Counsell is such an idiot.

That's fair, but twice in the last 2 games he has dropped a fastball. Like, a ball thrown directly to him. I feel like you should make that mistake once a year at most. Not complaining, just surprised.
