Brewers decent favorites today

Cain batting fourth. Pitcher back to batting 8

Don’t ask me why but I have a feeling this game will be a blowout. By whom? I can’t tell you

Our daily line-ups are a complete and total mystery until they are posted.

No continuity at all, almost like CC plugs in Yelich at #2, decides where he wants the pitcher to hit, then draws from a hat for the rest of the spots.

I really think counsell needs a baseball detox for a week. The guy just seems frazzled. I think he’s a good manager. He needs a reset. It’s like something has pissed him off or thrown him for a loop

This is the best Brewer lineup I've seen in awhile. Maybe just because it completely lacks a Tyler Saladino, I don't know.

Funny I thought the same thing. No Saladino makes me happy.

What’s this about hader being hurt? I hope it’s just to keep him out of all star game

Sure sounds like it.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

I don't like Cain at 4, I'd put Thames at 4, Hiura at 5, and Cain at 6.

If I were able to start from scratch, I'd go:

Gamel

Yelich

Grandal

Moose

Hiura

Thames

Cain

Arcia

Houser

The bullpen could really use a rest, and we could use one from them, so naturally Houser will have a 30+ pitch first inning and put the team in a hole.

I have a pretty good idea who.

Well looks like a bullpen day for the Brewers. Houser really needs to be moved back to the bullpen where he was starting to shine. The problem here is that the Brewers don't have anyone to put into the rotation to replace him.

As long as Gio's rehab start goes well on Wednesday he's set to return.

This team is going to fold like a cheap suit. The rotation is exactly like the rotations in the early 2000s. Woodruff is a bonafide above average starting pitcher and there’s a couple back of the rotation arms then a few spots filled by stiffs
