I don't think I would have taken Thames bat out of this game. He's been one of the more steady players lately.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yah...but against a lefty? I’m taking him out.

Agreed, but our manager is hell bent on tinkering as much as possible with the lineup, at any given moment.

Roster has 600 players right now, and no shortstops LOL

Freitas is not a good hitter...…………………………………….in MLB.

Be careful ... between this and the "Bud Selig isn't a deity" talk, someone is gonna be upset.

No until he gets a knock or two it’s ok. I understand the skepticism. Don’t care, just glad people are excited again at the prospect of the crew getting in the playoffs.

Jordan Lyles: Batter (Marlins) vs Pitching Stats

Would be great if we could get someone to start posting the line-ups again before gametime. I find myself looking back at the lineup post several times per game, and feel sad when it isn't there. lol

Not that I don't appreciate all the effort everyone involved with this site provides of course...

If Anastasio was any sort of owner himself, he would have flown in some Brewers fans so our team has people making noise for them.

I will take it but now 1 for 8 with RISP and have stranded 10.

Unfortunately that has been par for the course too much this season. :(

Marlins 6-10 when allowing four runs.

1-16 when allowing five runs. 5-11 when allowing six runs.

Good reason for going for an extra run by pinch hitting Braun instead of Thames facing a lefty.

There are WI transplants there.

And now a black hole behind Yelich because Braun can't actually play right now. Good move.

Does Kinley have reverse splits or something? Odd to bring in a righty for Thames and pinch hit a righty no?

They brought in Braun to PH against the lefty and then the Marlins brought in the righty.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
