I wanna see Black hit 100mph

Now begins the "how on earth do we finish this game" just like every other day.

The Brewers have a 3.47 bullpen ERA in September.....

You can't, with a straight face tell me you have confidence in more than Hader though. Come on now

I have confidence in Suter. Maybe you were just talking about whose available today though.

Sure do. Suter has been awesome. Claudio is a great lefty specialist. Guerra has been steady. Black has been electric. Albers has had some great moments.

Edit: Forgot Pomeranz. He's been very good too.

It's taken them all to do their jobs for us to be in this positon.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yes, most definitely. And the fact that Suter is #2 tells you something. But hey, it's working for now! Black could be #3 soon?

Guerra, Pomeranz, Claudio, and Black have all been very very good since the all-star break. I don't buy into this whole backhanded bashing of the Brewers thing that so many on here do. Plenty of quality relievers in the bullpen...not just Hader(though he's obviously the best)

If this dude could just consistently locate his slider...

He looks like me when I'm lazily playing catch and he hits triple digits.

I'm not sure what is going on with this team but I don't question it anymore.

You lasted 3 hours.

Black is going to be an interesting candidate for next year’s bullpen.

I wonder how similar Wahl is.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

It's more of a kind-hearted ribbing from the full season of work but ok, I'll be quiet. Best bullpen ever!

Obviously I agree, I’ll add Jackson vs RH batters. 7 of 14 is enough to win some more games moving forward.

How many pitches did Hader throw last nite?

....

Don't know but would think he can go 1 today....probably not 2

I’m sure Counsell would like to get through this game without using Hader with the Cardinals games coming up. Pitching him today pretty much takes him out for tomorrow, and going two would probably take him out until Sunday.

I am sure they could throw Hader 2 innings today...but I am sure they really would prefer not to. Obviously.

Probably, but it would be so much better to not use him today and have him available tomorrow against St Louis. This is where 4 or 5 more runs would be incredibly beneficial
