2021-05-14: Braves (Smyly) at Brewers (Houser) [Brewers lose, 6-3]

[Cool Hand Lucroy]

Going to have to hit tonight, it appears. Braves hitting it pretty hard.

[TURBO]

Just gotta say, Good to have BA and Rock back

amen

[jason21nl]

Dead ball

[markedman5]

Maybe AM fam got the humidor treatment? They added some parks apparently but it’s a secret which ones.

[markedman5]

This ump is bad…..but then most seem to be

[Baldkin]

Is Hauser hurt?

[yourout]

No one will ever convince me automated strike zone would be worse than what we see called on a nightly basis.

[TURBO]

Is Hauser hurt?

Who's Hauser?

[OldHeidelberg]

Is Hauser hurt?

I just checked the gamecast and was wondering the same thing. But that last inning didn’t look pretty so guessing he just didn’t have it. Still, starters usually get longer leashes and he has come back from bad innings before,

[TURBO]

We are making Smyly look like an all star.

[Baldkin]

Is Hauser hurt?

Who's Hauser?

Dammit. I always type his name one way then change it. I'm right about half the time.

[trwi7]

Is Hauser hurt?

No, he threw more balls than strikes and generally wasn't even close enough to the zone to get hitters to think about swinging.

[yourout]

Urias late getting the front foot on the ground.

I loathe the high leg lift.

[yourout]

Again......jam sandwich cause his front foot is caught mid air.

[markedman5]

Houser was arrested for failure to enter the strike zone…….

[trwi7]

There's some real pus lined to center.

[yourout]

That left a mark.

[BruisedCrew]

Guess the ball isn’t dead if you hit it hard enough

[trwi7]

Kind of cheapens the talk of the dead ball and/or humidor.

[yourout]

Guess the ball isn’t dead if you hit it hard enough

I think he "killed" that ball.

[markedman5]

Well those 2 didn’t die on the track…..

[magnoliacrew]

That's the Lauer I remember.

[jason21nl]

The ball is suddenly alive. Maybe the Brewers hitters just suck

[TURBO]

ugh.

Ok, well, this game seems out of reach.

What date will we fall below the .500 mark?

By the way, the Reds are creeping up on us.

[trwi7]

Lauer has given up 5 homers in 9 innings now.
