I can’t help you if you don’t think Jace gets to 3rd on that. Absolute waste of time arguing back and forth.

Not trying to be mean/condescending…but you really should read up on base running with less than two outs.

Jace getting to 3rd there is very far from certain. He would have had to bank on him not catching that ball pretty early considering that it didn’t bounce very far from him.

I can’t go back and change history to see, but I’m not sure he is getting to third there. I can for certain say he would have been nowhere even in the same zip code as home though.

Now the play-by-play guy wonders if Urias struck out on that check swing…ON THE FIRST PITCH OF THE AT BAT

Edit: whoops, he said strike one, not strike out. My apologies play-by-play guy whoever you are

They need a bench bat too. Don’t want to see Reyes in the playoffs

Reyes will be down when Wong comes back. But could still use another infield bat who could fill in at 2B/3B.

Could use another batter to replace our MVP

I mean.... he is still putting up a .400 OBP. Getting on base still has value.

The crowd is cheering thinking Yelich actually has a shot of tying it up.

Best case he moves the runner over to second with a walk.

They’re most definitely not paying him to walk

No, I'm not arguing that, but you're not going to go get someone to put a guy who's got a .400 OBP on the bench.

That Yelich contract is absolute money on fire already. Imagine how it's going to look in 5 years. We haven't even gotten into the extension part of it yet.
