Curtiss stinks.
Curtiss hasn't been too bad.

:laughing

Ha.

Hopefully this is an indication that no one should take my posts too seriously in these in-game threads.

I can buy this to a point but other teams did acquire relievers and thrust them into high leverage situation and they are doing fine

Who, exactly? And have they also been asked to pitch in 5 of their new teams' six games since acquiring him?

I can’t believe Curtiss is mailing it in!

What an awful take. You need to won this.

I think I did “won this”. ;)

Now the grammar police, you going for the trifecta today?

That was not a good at bat by Omar.

No, he really needed to at least advance the runner.

ETA: the wild pitch bailed him out.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Not ready for the bright lights I guess...

More so a play on words there guy. Carry on…

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

He proved otherwise by getting out of it!

Looks like Anderson left with only left calf cramping. Good news.

Crossing fingers that that is it. They need him for his next. One emergency replacement is enough for one week.

Coach Cooper would give him an attaboy for gritting his teeth and getting out of it.

I get that our bullpen is far from healthy, but it doesn't look like we really did enough at the deadline to help it. These additions haven't been very good.

I mean, the've both been thrust into high-leverage set-up rolls since the pretty much got here. Couldn't really anticipate the team losing half their bullpen to COVID.

I can buy this to a point but other teams did acquire relievers and thrust them into high leverage situation and they are doing fine. If they can't handle high leverage situations, why did they acquire them?

They needed depth there. They needed a couple of guys that could pitch in the 5th-6th innings. Match-up guys. I don't think those two were ever traded for with the intent of pitching in the extreme high-leverage spots they have. They replaced guys like Yardley, Perdomo, Milner or whoever else was on the Nashville shuttle.

But again, COVID.

I generally read your posts like they are 45% serious and 55% satire, if that helps.

Which is where I disagree. Not saying the did a bad job getting those two even if early results are iffy. I think they did need to go get a high leverage pen arm.

The obligatory lead off walk.

I’ve heard rumors that Brandon Belt doesn’t hit a HR in every other at bat, but there is no evidence of that in this series.
