Opens a roster spot for Vogelbach (.391/.571/.667 at Nashville) I presume. They have a stretch coming up with 8 games in AL parks over 2 1/2 weeks and can use a DH. They can get by with 4 OF and an IF/OF swing man in Peterson.

[OldHeidelberg]

I saw this and thought maybe it was time to let Ray sink or swim but he must be hurt again?

[umphrey]

Gotta hold on to everyone til rosters are expanded

[Outlander]

I don't think there would be much playing time for Vogelbach the next 5 games. Let him stay sharp and hit in AAA and bring him up next weekend in Minnesota. Bring up somebody else for now.

Do rosters expand anymore? I thought that ended, or at most they can bring up one more player.

[adambr2]

They go from 26 to 28. A little help, but not like it was before where you could just unload your entire 40.

[brewers888]

This is a much bigger loss than most would think when you consider how few threats we have from the right side.

[djoctagone]

the brewers have placed tyrone taylor on the 10-day injured list.

[djoctagone]

after viewing his mri, team officials estimate that taylor will miss three to four weeks.

[brewmann04]

Ugh another loss takes him out till possible mid September. Maybe they dial up Dahl.

Good thing we have Cain and JBJ while Taylor is languishing on the IL for the better part of the next month.

It's almost like any player can get an injury at any time regardless of age.

[djoctagone]

for the past three days, tyrone taylor has been hitting, and has been running the bases and playing catch.

[djoctagone]

the brewers expect tyrone taylor to start a minor league rehab assignment on thursday. it can last up to 20 days.

[djoctagone]

a day later than expected, tyrone taylor is sent out on a minor league rehab assignment with class aaa nashville. it can last up to 20 days.

[Underachiever]

man, those obliques are stubborn things! Guys are out for a long time with those.

[markedman5]

He’s back!

Welcome back! A big hit that hopefully puts our number at one.
