At least he didn’t walk the lead off guy

He’s getting more efficient. We could save even more time by just giving them a runner and dispensing with the pitches.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Another knock for Thomas... ugh

By my count he’s been on base in 8 of 11 PAs in this series.

Pina not good enough offensively to make errors.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Then a gift run to counter all of the hard hit balls the Brewers have had.

That hurts…..not Housers fault on the errant throw but he needs to stop putting the lead off runner on base every inning……that will eventually bite you and it did there.

Have to admit, I doubted the likelihood of success with bullpen acquisitions like Boxberger, and more recently Strickland, but they have both proven me wrong by being consistently solid nearly every time out.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Hunter Strickland since coming to the Brewers from the Angels: 1.25 ERA, 22 strikeouts in 21 2/3 innings, 26.8 percent strikeout rate, 0.78 WHIP.

You must be mistaken. When I mentioned a few weeks ago that the Brewers had trouble against lefty starters I was told that I didn’t know what I was talking about.

If Nolan would plunk JBJ, we'd be in business. But somehow I think this will be the end of the inning.
