It may be a bad perception but I feel like they do this every time they come off of a West Coast trip. Takes them a game to get in it.

Gotta question everything about this game tonight. Ashby warming up?? I say start him and let Freddy rehab. I have a bad feeling that after this game we are going to find out Freddy was not 100 percent and is going to be out a while longer. Oh and Topa should be done here.

Justin Topa is a reminder that a great arm and electric stuff does not always equal results. There's reasons this guy hasn't really made it at this level yet.

Yeah I don't really understand the need to waste a nice arm like Ashby on a dud game like today. Today's a day to try to get 2 innings out of Daniel Vogelbach.

Possibly no one left in this thread, but had to come on line to express my frustration with Bill Schroeder. My appreciation of him has really gone downhill this year. I'm really tired of his desire to eliminate the strike zone box. He states that it somehow shrinks the strike zone....please explain Bill. He's also tired of the umpires being scrutinized every game. They should be! And there is a handful that should be held accountable if their ball/strike calls are constantly proven to be incorrect game after game after game.
