Partially because he is a lefty and we have quite a few lefties in the pen, I'd wager on Lauer being the 4th starter and Houser definitely a pen option.

Well if it’s against the Dodgers it’s worth remembering that they (the Dodgers) have struggled against LHP starters this year, and of course Lauer has a history of dominating the Dodgers himself.
