2 runs in sixteen innings is not going to cut it.

 

2 runs in the first 9 innings was just enough.

 

0 runs in the next 7 innings, so far, hasn't been enough. If they don't score tonight, they'll have 3 more games to get more than 2 runs.

If only we produced hitters half as well as we do pitchers.

 

We decided to switch from producing hitters to pitchers a decade ago. I mean, we could produce both but that’s just crazy talk
